Not intended as a hatefest. I like Journey, listened to the DVD and thought it was an interesting topic. 65 posts in a day and a half? A lot of good points made positive and negative... I'd call that a worthy discussion... whatever.

Bottom line... Anyone can slam or praise anyone they choose to... if you don't like it, pound sand. My whole point here was that the guy has done some great stuff. You listen to those old albums and he tastefully added to the songs, made them better. But... in recent live stuff he at times...

Thats it in a nutshell, thanks for articulating what was in my head lol... I do like his distorted sound for rythym, but im a gain kinda guy. Watching him play, i say its EGO, he thinks he is king sh#t, like he is the frontman. Sad....

Exactly, the seller wants to get as much as he can and the buyer wants to pay as little as possible... If one side goes right to their limit, even if the other doesnt try to move the bar further they have lost. Only a fool would show all their cards while the other person hasn't even made a move.
