Not sure how you know which ESP guitars sell the best but there is a big difference between an import Explorer knockoff and an sig Mesa amp. You can cop Hetfield’s tone pretty easily for under a grand and a sig Hetfield amp would be prob 3x that

Used to be most Heritage LPs were heavy but in the past decade or so they have done a lot better than Gibson in that area. Prob for me is there is only one neck carve and as a giant human one size fits all doesn't work. F'ing Gibson makes us spend a premium for the fat necks but it's worth it...

I credit RJM for turning me from one of the “MIDI is really complicated and not for me” guys into someone who uses the tech regularly. Good people, great products.

I’m with you, I’m simple. I don’t want to run 4 x 20’ cables from my rig to my board but I want to be able to use time based fx—even with a channel switcher—after my amp rather than before. I can do that. Plus I don’t want to carry a delay or reverb pedal.
