a few really good things actually:
finally bought a fender combo , a blues deluxe, swapped out the speaker, and it's one of the sweetest cleans/pedal platforms ever, kicking myself for not buying something similar sooner
an 83 jcm800 50watter 2204, has *that* tone, cleans up great with the...
ooold thread, but just got one of these myself, absolute killer guitars, quick setup and stupidly easy to play , just changed the pickups out as the stock ones were a little flat for my tastes
try a pair of dimarzio breeds in there, really brings the thing alive =0
they're cool amps, had a jvm410h for quite a while, there's a huge dedicated forum to them

lots of possible mods and things you can do, negative stuff for me was:
-too much gain on OD1 orange/red OD2 orange/red without it getting way too noisy/feedback etc.., and...

best thing is really go try out a bunch in the shop, maybe even a squier classic vibe model might surprise you , there's also G&L which make some nice telecasters, i've got a cheapo vintage v52 icon which sounds really good, otherwise MIM teles are fine, the baja is a nice guitar
i know what you mean, i don't necessarily mind a meatier production , here's another new thrash band, mids/meat/peavey ? =0

would be interested in hearing some of those old classics with better...
+1
some other things:
quite a few venues also have stepdown transformers , but best to bring your own
if it's just for one tour , renting a peavey/EVH head in europe might end up being cheaper given shipping costs etc etc
if it's for the long haul i'd consider selling and buying an EU version...
any reply/message that starts with 'good day' is usually a bad sign along with bad english and no spacing, run to the hills
