+1 with a great sense of humour to boot
put on an aristocrats show last year , not a huge fan of the cd, but it's an incredible live act ridiculous chops and you get to see how they interact together, really worth seeing live if you get a chance
grats =0
i've had a Vintage V52 icon (tele copy) for a little while now, a few changes/upgrades , pure sleeper guitar, killer for the money especially used w/upgrades
aweeesome, always thought he had killer playing/chops , those early dio albums/solos are a great testament to that
those engls sounding good =0
here's the vid of rainbow in the dark with steel panther + viv campbell ... frikkin nails the solo

here's a better vid of the two songs...
that sounds cool, they're on blowout kinds of prices around here too, can't seem to find the head over here in europe, thomann used to carry them they just have the combos atm
stiff just sounds all kinds of wrong, especially with guitar/amps , i've always heard stiff as a criticism of an amp sounds/feels, which is unfortunate if the amps sound good
i've got two guitars at 25.5 both with 10s on em , fret size and radius makes the most difference in feel for me
a vintage tele copy 10" radius medium frets - and a yamaha pacifica mike stern - 12" radius tall jumbo frets, the yamaha is far easier to play/bends, the vintage tele copy you have...
very cool, seems very simple indeed
with this mod without turning down the volume pot you can't get a 'clean clean' if that makes sense, it's always gritty across the dial or?
yeah i still don't get people who expect it to be a reasonable price selling something 10-20 $/euro off what it costs new .. given the 30 day returns programs the big online retail places do seems a bit silly , then again i might just spend too much time surfing forums/classifieds/ebay =)
how...
i think it depends a lot on the brand as well
like gibson/fender holding their value pretty well, certain pedals are the same (eventide is another example and say strymon over here new it's around 270 euro , and used prices are about 200 euro incl. shipping)
stuff that floods the market to...

out of interest did you try an EQ pedal in front of the amp for boosting?
with my jcm800 2204 it's what worked the best out of all the OD/boosts i tried , tailor in what kind of frequencies are missing/too present etc.. works well with various guitars
i've used a few , for what you're after i'd say go with the boss RC series
the boss loopers also have some built in beats if you want, i'm pretty sure they quantize your loops as well so they're perfectly in time, the RC-2 can probably be had for cheap, does all that (16 memory slots approx...
within the setup mode switching between true bypass and DSP bypass might make a difference to this (ie. put it on DSP bypass)
otherwise i'm thinking the delay is picking up the minute click/channel switch sound and you're hearing that in the repeats
not really sure what you can do to avoid...
having discussed this at length with a friend in the same predicament, here's what we got to:
the axe fx 2 has everything in the box, all the tools at your disposal but the amps available are set in stone by the firmware , crazy amounts of effects
kemper has more limited effects, but it's more...
a friend has had one since day one, and sometime last year gave me a demo of some of the tones he had on there (AC30 , plexi , XTC profiles) , first through the return of his Naylor half stack/4x12 which sounded decent, but it absolutely destroyed through a powered monitor he had
all the...
