Good tune! I liked it. I am catching As I Am vibes during the verses though.

What was you first "Real" amp?

Started playing guitar in 1983 at the age of 13. I bought my first guitar (Gibson Melody Maker) and a Peavey Butcher half stack with the matching cab. I went big! Took me two years of mowing 6 lawns per week to save up for it. I knew so little about gear and how to make it sound good back then...

    Man, John Sykes passed away.

So sad! John was so important to my early playing. 1987 was released and I was blown away when it was released. I loved Slide it In but when I bought the cassette and listened to the first 30 seconds of Still of the Night I was just surprised. It was like the reigns were removed for this album...

My absolute favorite Recto tone on an album release...Testament - The Gathering. What a great album!!! I believe they used a Triple Recto. Sounds massive! I love this tune in particular. That kick drum pattern during the verses is amazing!

Is there ONE amp that you could get by with as your single amp?

Totally is. Very dynamic and I use my guitar's volume all of the time.

Is there ONE amp that you could get by with as your single amp?

Yep and I own it. My 3rd Power Kitchen Sink is everything I want in an amp.

If you have to crank the DSL to get it to sound good I just assume crank a JCM800.

Your Opinion on Holy Grail Modern Metal Tone(s)

I thought I read that Adam likes to mix and layer amps. Amps and effects Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel In the studio for...

    School me on Bogner amps

Owned a 20th Anniversary Ecstasy w/ 6L6s. It's one of my favorite amps ever. It is extremely versatile, very usable gain at high levels and the Bogner chew.
