I have went back and forth on selling this. It is an amazing amplifier and I have been beyond impressed with it. I have owned a few other marks in the past and compared to the V and the III+ I had it is easily the best one. Unfortunately changes in life is driving me to list this. It is in...
Good question, I've never played a badlander but I've seen several comments saying they needed more lows and some more gain. Not sure if that's accurate or not but if it is, it would be a win/win for sure. When I tried it in my old dual rectifier it was absolutely amazing, but again not so much...

Vavlestorm kit with heyboer iron is a great option. I built their 2203 kit and ended up putting 6550 tubes in it and absolutely love the sound of the amp.
It does work in it. I had one and tried it in it. I'm not sure if it was my tubes in that amp or the design of it but I do not think it sounded as good in the three channel multiwatt as the older two channel.
I owned a V for a couple of years, a while back so take all of this with a grain of salt. I did not like the V. It was good a several things but I never really found it to be great at anything. This could have been completely user error but I tried it with several different cabs/pickups etc and...
I crank the mid knob. From what I understand (which is probably completely wrong) the knobs are almost like a cascaded gain for the pre eq section. So pushing the mids and treble to make it distort sort of like an older style Marshall was what I was shooting for. So far it seems to be working...
