I saw a VM1SH a couple years ago for $1000, should have grabbed it. I look regularly and this is the first one I've seen for sale in a loooong time.
IMO The Governor 16 was great for rhythm and leads on the gain channel but felt very flat and dull on cleans.
Same cabinet model, Legend V1216 and Swamp Thang 16 are a much better choice, Swamp Thang 16 having a fatter feel on cleans.

I would never ever use barrel jacks on power. Input signal, yeah you have to with some guitars. The contact points are much smaller and lighter on the barrel type jacks, I'm not trusting the health of my OT to a barrel jack.

I agree. Joe Satriani and Stu Hamm prior to the G3 thing, 1990 (?) Flying In A Blue Dream tour, just were awesome together, Stu had a long solo section in the middle. Stevie Salas opened, it was just a great show.
