I don't know what the original trannies were, but the non-Sovtek ones were not so good for that amp.
The trannies from the Plus series are huuuge... there's a funny back story on those, not for public consumption though.
If it's any help, a Krank Revolution Series One is a modded Sovtek Mig 100h.
First runs of the Rev were built on the Sovtek chassis, using the iron.
Subsequent runs used all Krank parts, and the transformers IMO were undersized.

The Plus models are better than the series one anyway, IMO partially because the transformers are so much bigger. The 'stein models are voiced more treble-y than the Rev because that's what Dime wanted, along with the Texas Heats in the cab, I think he had hearing loss, the top end is the first...

You can find 'em cheap, built like a tank, top notch components, best TS pedal I've ever had! Only drawback is that the LED will blind you on a dark stage!!!
