How did you come up with the bias voltage? I am hot to drop a quad of KT66s into my TourMaster. Have been wondering to what voltage I should bias them. Got any sound clips to post with the KTs in place? Duff

Doin some research. Found that the TungSol KT66's draw as much or little current as the 5881's.....0.9A. Anybody tried these in a TM 4100? Bruce you have any feedback to provide? Duff

Watchin Austin City Limits the last night featuring Alejandro Escovedo. Noticed his lead guitar play had an Egnater cab stuck behind a Fender something or other. Can't tell what head is on top of the Eggy cab. Wondering if anyone else saw this and can tell what the head is... Duff

My Reb 30 DI is dead quiet. Use it all the time to record. Usually a mix of mic'ed & DI. Any noise comes from all the crap I got in the effects loop. This is one of the amps I do gig. Running through a board/PA makes it sound huge. Duff

Nope, dont have the combo, do have the 4100 head and bought an empty TM212 . After a bit of swapping I finally left it as Vin 30s. I like it. I also found I like the Eminence Man O War just as well. What I would really like is to find another empty TM212 and drop Man O Wars in that. Duff

The channel volumes are rather non-linear in the TM. I think you will find the thing really opens up and can become rather beastly when you get them around 1-2 o'clock. I've had the 4100 for a couple of years now and that was one of my first questions to Bruce on this forum. Duff
