Curious to see what people's thoughts are on these if they've tried them. They seem to be fairly similar in price to the current Gibson LP Standards. just wondering if people have tried any of these yet. I'm most interested in the Greeny and Adam Jones Standard models.
Cheers,
Jesse
Hey everyone,
This is a bit of a niche question, but for anyone out there who has tried / owned both, what did you prefer and why? Curious to see if the differences are significant or not between these two models. Pricing premium seems to go towards the Black Dot / No Stripe from what I can...
To be honest I haven't seen many negative reviews on the Empress pedal yet. Most seem to be pretty positive from what i've seen but I may not have looked around as much as you OP.
Hey all,
What would you choose between these two if they were the same price? Curious to see how people compare the III vs the IV. Curious as well what the "best" revisions are for these two amps. Don't see those comparisons as much. I've only ever owned a Mark V and wasn't crazy about it...

Thank you for a great write up!
Did Fedex deliver it? They did the same to a 101b I just got delivered. Cracked the whole bottom side of the headshell. Filed a claim with them so we will see how it goes.
I saw this article. That is very helpful. I was kind of going down the same path when I was playing with tone knobs on the 101b. I was able to get it to not sound muddy / muffled and had pretty good attack to it.
Hey everyone,
I've beefed up my amp collection recently. I have a late 90's Bogner 101b, Fryette Deliverance D60 I, and a Friedman BE100 DLX in my collection and have been using them through a Mesa Recto 2x12 with V30s in it. I've been thinking about getting a 4x12. I've only heard good things...
