Nope. I have an amp and cab combination that does early VH tone pretty good, and then I use different mics to get closer to a specific tone, then once I get it almost there to match a recorded tone I do an EQ match and profile with the amp, mic placement and EQ curve that so it's 'baked' into...

Traded the black LP Trad Pro on the left for a '73 strat, but still have the others. The P90 is surprisingly fun to play, and the other LP is a '04 Faded standard that I polished the stock finish. Has a nice worn look to it, and sounds GREAT. I think the thin finish helps.
