Just make sure you leave the amp plugged into your cabinet. If it's a parallel loop, no sound will come out of the cabinet. If it's a series loops, turn the mix to 100%, and you should be good to go. You won't need a load box.
You can start by messing around with Garageband. I think it's...
"Here is an amp that most of you haven't ever played." Proceeds to play typical crap most people from TGP would yank it to and talks the other 13 minutes of the 14 minute video.
Love,
Dale
P.S. - I've owned over a dozen of them and still own one.
I'm doing fine, and I have been the whole time. As we say down here in the south, "It's not my first rodeo." I know the best thing I can do is stay out of the BS.
Well, we buried my Dad the day before yesterday. We had found out he had Stage 4 lung cancer about a month and a half ago. He had taken his first round of chemotherapy on the 1st of July, but his kidneys gave out 2 days before his next treatment on the 22nd.
Anyway, I guess I'm the most...
Insert lowest wattage $5000+ flavor of the week over there where the owner makes a clip or video of 3 notes bent up 2 steps and designates it as the second coming of Jesus via guitar amplification. Then, it's for sale 2 or 3 months later. Rinse and repeat. That sums up The Goobersmooching Page.
Yeah, I gave it a listen some more on my way down here to South Texas the other night. Big Truck, Sway, Loco and a few others.
I saw them live in Memphis in 2000.
Hi, I'm Dale. I've been on RT since day 2 (I think). When I'm not working in remote desert locations or out in the salt water, I enjoy dumpster diving, working on vegan recipes, eating medium rare steaks and observing this clown world we live in today.
For some odd reason, I've been listening to the first Coal Chamber album. Nu-Metal tuned down to B going into a Marshall JCM 800. The music isn't that impressive, and the lyrics suck. I just like the way it sits in the mix. You could even hear him live (using JCM 900 live).
After that...
I have a Marstran C1998 in an Adam Jones clone with a LarMar. Then, I have a Mercury O100-JM in a 2203 build. I've been extremely happy with both of them.
I never saw one that cheap, but I never was lucky. The SLO played cat and mouse with me for 10 years before I was able to get one.
Yep, that ship is on Neptune these days!
Either that or order a C1998 from Marstran. The one technomancer is pointing you toward will save you some money and pretty much get your in the same ballpark.
