Having not tried the EG5 (though I'm planning on sending my MHG in to have it converted), I will say that the EG3/4 dishes up pretty close lead tones for tunes on the Passion & Warfare album... --B

I dig the SL for classic rock tones... typically I use the "A" channel for chord-based stuff (AC/DC) and the "B" channel for single-note riffs (Zep). --B
