Considering how simple the Red channel Cameron mod is, I’m going to try it very soon. I’m sure it’s subtle but to have it on a switch seems like a cool option.

To answer the question about Kingsley pricing, I believe there's a bit of a waiting list so the goofy high used prices are probably because of limited availability. Similar to the A.M King of Tone. Simon builds insane stuff and really has these tuned in.
The Kingsley stuff is apparently unrivaled and he has enough stuff out to cover just about all bases, minus super aggressive metal stuff.
The Tube Driver is a classic and the go-to if you want Gilmour tones. Friedman makes a tube overdrive but I know nothing about it. I'm sure it's good.
I always thought they stayed pretty tight, even without a boost. Great amps! Psychodave put up mods awhile back..I always wanted to grab one and try them out.
Had this same experience with my Mesa Horizontal 212. It sounded beamy and raspy with the stock UK V30s. They were extremely broken in but I never was able to get a nice tone out of it. Swapped speakers several times and landed on a Chinese V30 and T75 combo and it actually sounds much better...
The only reason I dumped it was because of the shitty parallel loop (even with mods those loops were funky) and at the time, it was my only amp so I was unfairly attempting to get every sound out of that circuit which just isn't possible. Now I have a few amps to cover other sounds but that...
And right on cue.. Annual January bump! Actually it looks like I missed a year. This amp floating around these parts?? It’s sentimental at this point. Would still like to get it back.

Not true...you called our goat video beautiful several times.
Andy just crushes. His whole sound and style is just so fully realized and recognizable. Amazing tone.
I've wanted one for over 20 years and have played a ton of them. I find the company itself, design and Paul very inspiring but I haven't found the one for me. Build and playability is stellar but tone-wise they never quite do it for me like my Gibson and Fenders do. I am super interested in...
Nice! Please reply back with your thoughts on the TGA-3. Yeah, I still love the guitar sounds on Core and Purple. I also came across those XTS Ryan Wariner videos a couple years back and that's what made me realize that a rig like that could be super versatile and not just do the STP tones.
I’d say the closest in sound, channel layout is probably the Bogner 20th Anniversary Ecstasy. I’m not saying they’re identical by any means but I can’t think of anything that comes closer.
I instantly loved my 2555x from the first chord. Briefly plugged into a mini at Chicago Music Exchange and thought it was similar just not quite as huge sounding.
Couple of things: the eq on these is crazy responsive and it may take you a bit find the sweet spots. Everything at noon works but...
I don’t know much about the 55 Hz but I had my 1960B loaded with two anniversaries and two CL80s for a while per Mark Cameron’s recommendation and it sounded great. Lots of bite but had a growl that I haven’t really heard from other speakers. I’ve also played an old Cameron 412 with...
The entire Ditto line is solid. I almost bought the X2 but went for a used Pigtronix Infinity for the ability to store loops. If you don’t need that option then yes, Ditto is great.
