depends on your particular use. the kemper does great in the studio were you want one or two exact rigs. the axe-fx II flat out rocks live or in the studio. for live use, i would say get the axe-fx II.

yeah, the eleven rack makes all kinda sense. i have hundreds of presets already, including close versions of the Laney tone. i'm sure i could get that Laney fairly easily with the eleven rack. GAS deflating.....
