night and day difference. the gsp1101 is a toy by comparison.
the eleven rack would also be a good step up for cheap.
the older digitech stuff didn't do so well direct to pa, and the battery needs to be replaced every so many years.....don't go there.
depends on your particular use. the kemper does great in the studio were you want one or two exact rigs.
the axe-fx II flat out rocks live or in the studio. for live use, i would say get the axe-fx II.
another song that i wanted to like but just couldn't. and yeah, it's a little too much like Bark at the moon. the singer just ain't cuttin it for me either. of all of the guys Jake could have chosen, why this guy?
if you decide to play around with going direct, try the eleven rack....you'll thank me later. less money and it still has the meat and potatoes good tone. if you need wacky effects then the axe-fx II is the way to go. i just sold my axe-fx II and the eleven rack is perfect for me, because i...
i sold the axe-fx II to help my mom pay some healthcare bills.
but even if i wouldn't have had to sell for that reason, i was gonna sell it in the future anyway. just too much money tied into a piece of gear that i spent more time tweaking then playing. for a studio that needs to stock a...
cool man. you definitely rock my presets for sure. can't wait to hear the new clip.
have you heard that there is a new stand alone editor avid is releasing? maybe even another expansion pack.
yeah, the eleven rack makes all kinda sense. i have hundreds of presets already, including close versions of the Laney tone. i'm sure i could get that Laney fairly easily with the eleven rack.
GAS deflating.....
my studio has the eleven rack sitting right on top the desk with other components and a monitor on top, so it would be a pain to pull out of there every time.
right now, i'm considering one of the following:
1) eleven rack
2) torpedo cab sim
3) Laney Lionheart IRT studio amp/preamp
was pondering my live church rig delima and trying to decide between going with a di/cab emulator, or another eleven rack....or whatever.
first up, the cheap options like behringer and redbox cab sims. then palmer.
i listened to recordings of every cab emulator that i could find and nothing is...
i tried the behringer years ago, and it wasn't too good. it was better than the rocktron, but not on par with the eleven rack or axe-fx for sure.
how about redbox or palmer?
i forgot that i still have a Rocktron Prophesy sitting in a rack that could be used, but the direct sound sucks. i would have to get a better cab sim. i used an eleven rack as a cab sim for it once and it sounded 1000% better.....so that is another option. i would just need to buy something...
now that the axe-fx II is gone, and my old gnx4 ain't cuttin it....i need to move on and get something that will work. i still have my eleven rack, but it's mounted in my studio, so i need another device. i was getting ready to pull the trigger on another eleven rack on ebay when someone at...
i'm trying to get used to the sound of my Yamaha reference monitors in this new room. i can hear things too well. lol.
all tone comes from the eleven rack Singtall Superpack presets. i used the singtall krunch and modern krunch for sure....can't remember which other ones, but i know they were...
i have an old early 90's grey carpet covered X100B that Brian from BFG amplification helped me mod, and it crushes!

I accidently bricked my axe-fx II while doing a firmware update tonight.....so it now does nothing but display some pretty lights. how did i do it? i power cycled the axe-fx before it was quite finished updating.
thank God that i still have my trusty eleven rack! the cool thing is that my...
