on the black flag clip, the only thing i did differently is roll off some highs and lows. listening to the faith, hope, love cd it sounds a little darker like the highs were subdued a bit compared to the gretchen clip. i think i'm close enough to call it a decent preset. no one has any...

my presets are still a work in progress for sure....but i plan on getting there soon. Ty Tabor himself is using an axe-fx ultra and said he is getting the old tones from it, he just isn't sharing the presets. once i get the presets as close as i can, i will email him over at alien bean...

the cab sims sounded like plastic, that's why they weren't that popular. i couldn't get rid of mine fast enough.

i have a couple 2-12" cabs loaded with some 1986 G12T-75's that just sound smooth as can be. breaking them in helps. most heads i've tried sound good through them, but Marshall variants sound the best through them. my blackstar head absolutely kills with those speakers, where my Carvin V3...

i really can't believe how good this simple setup sounds. you could have easily posted a description of tons of high dollar gear and played April fool on this one. the guitar tone surprised me too.....i thought that brand was some beginner junk, i need to read up some more.
