BE Cab with the greens/v30s is great if you’re looking at newer production cabs. I use it with my Hermansson Marshall, plenty of lows and mids, bit of a high end roll of which can be compensated with the amp
I thought this one I made captures the higher mid gain tones I get out of my Hermansson pretty well, drop D with Les Paul with Lundgren Black Heavens. This is for those of you worried his amps sound too tight or too clanky
If you’re going all out I highly recommend a Recto mod, honestly my Rev G modded with dual tightness and Global Depth/Presence controls and his special Recto Circuit is the best Rectifier I’ve ever played, gets tighter than a bad lander while staying as punchy as it was when I sent it and never...
People talk about their gear being the “best”’are only stating that because they want it to hold value when they go to sell
Also who needs more than 1 or 2 of the same amp, honestly

Still think the Hermansson won though
I like to very slightly boost mine with an EQ pedal (like, 2-3db of some 1000-4000hz).
Not for everyone but I play more modern metal and extend range guitars than I do E standard

Another point, IME, and I've seen others feel the same way. Rectifiers need to be on for a little bit before they sound their best, like 30-40 minutes.
This thread reminds me why my Hermansson Mesa Recto is my favourite amp for that recto sound.
Dial the tightness knob up, allows you to turn the gain up to pretty much max and it stays tight and grindy/growly. Like hitting it with a 33 or something. By far the best Modern Metal amp for...
I got the Mid-Boost and the Punch switch. I basically wanted it to be exactly like Fredrick Thordendals because I'm a huge Meshuggah fan haha. If I was to order it again I would go all switches for sure.
I am happy I got them because I pretty much always have the low or high boost engaged, they...
