I've never opened my MV up, but since it's a modern amp I'm pretty sure there are bleed-off resistors. With that said, you should always discharge the filter caps. I would recommend watching a Youtube video on it so you can see what to do rather than be told. I also recommend an alligator clip...
Lucky bastard. Before I left California, I had the chance to grab a couple Mark IV for $1000 and I passed because I thought that was too much. A few months later I bought a V for $1600. I absolutely love my V, but that one still stings.
I've never heard anyone say they got lost in a mix with a Mark. Maybe if the 750 slider was all the way down. If you are the type that does that, you should probably sell the Mark and go back to a Line 6 Spider.
65s are really mid and upper mid focused, and the Veterans from what I have heard are more present in the low-mids and don't have much top-end in comparison. I think they would probably fill each other out nicely.
I'm assuming by line out you are referring to a load box. If so, it appears that you are sending a signal which has already gone through a colored power amp into another colored power amp. I would not expect this to sound good. If you are going to run two amps, might as well get a splitter and...
I didn't mean that seriously guys. lol I think current modelers sound great. I can hear a difference in recordings, but I totally understand the appeal. I'm also the jackass that lugged an 8pc drum set with a ton of cymbals back in the day so I could hit all but 2 toms and 3 cymbals twice during...
I'm not sure what you mean by resources diminishing for amps. There's no way I'm ever going away from having an actual amp and cab. There's something about it that I just don't feel in modelers. Don't get me wrong, modern modelers sound great. I did meet a touring live sound guy who was like me...
That's weird. It explicitly says "shall be allowed as a credit against the tax imposed". If the IRS try's to use this whole law thing against me I'll be sure to show them your post.
If talking shit about Gibson is a bannable offense, how have any forums survived the last 10 years? Gibson has done nothing but give us reasons to bag on them.
CARES ACT[2020] :
‘‘SEC. 6428. 2020 RECOVERY REBATES FOR INDIVIDUALS. ‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—In the case of an eligible individual, there shall be allowed as a credit against the tax imposed by subtitle A for the first taxable year beginning in 2020 an amount equal to the sum of— ‘‘(1) $1,200 ($2,400...
Correct, they are not income. The $2,800 per person bill(which included the money per child, I don't remember how much) was a tax credit advance. They loaned you your tax credit rather than deducting it from your taxable income. But, if you happen to make under a certain amount they will forgive...
