I dont have a lot of cash for up front, so looking for a site that has their own CC they offer....I know of MF.com and GC.com. few others as well....Just curious if there are any others that I'm not aware of.
I'm looking for a decent pair of IEM's, mainly Sennheisers if I can, maybe another...
I'm a here and there fan, but always thought their tones were great for the songs they wrote. I especially love the wah pedal sound on the intro to a song, I always forget the title. Hold on, (googles Weezer), Perfect Situation.....
I asked on here and got the response it was just a standard...
I'm in Appleton, well Little Chute, do you get to Appleton often?
I hate the Guitar Center. I used to have a friend who worked there. She never got back to me when I wanted to know the price of a TC Electronic G-System, found a decent deal online, bought it. Then went into GC to get a...
yes, my band does it for 95% of our tracks. 3 piece plus vocalist. Mainly rhythm guitars and a few keyboard parts, but no one seems to mind. There are a few songs where the rhythm guitar only is playing and I just find something that fits with the song or roll my volume down a bit and play...
I ran mine, 6l6'S mind you, through a avatar 2x12, geared towards mids, and a genz benz gflex as well. stacked usually...
I also ran my 'bias knob' 3/4 towards the hotter side...I liked having the hotter power section even though, peavey's tend to stay pretty clean anyway...it just made the...
i come from your same background. GT 3/8/10....then the axe fx. I could hear immediate improvement in the tones stock amp cab style....I could always hear a cocked wah sound in the GT that I could dial out, but would need, two EQs, while running a Harmonic Converger in the loop, and even then...
ok, it is stereo on both ends. So, one scenario would be to exchange the Y cable...is there another option? using stereo patch cables or something else?
just a bump....with what I posed on the axe forum....
Ok, So here is what I know so far.
1 - my headphones, extension cable both work on the laptop for stereo. Getting equal volumes in the L and R channels while listening to music on the laptop.
2 - Am connecting to the Axe Fx using...
like i said, its not a matter of the power in the phones, I get enough tone at about half output. Maybe they are quieter than they should be at the output, but its useful at that level. What I'm baffled by is the 95/5% ratio on the L/R side. I tried different stereo settings in the I/O menu...
its not a matter of signal strength for the headphones. I get enough level, and it sounds pretty good to my powered monitor. I guess I just am not understanding why its a 95/5% mix L/R.
So....I'm trying to use headphones with my AFX. I have adapters to knock the 1/4" down to an 1/8". I've tried a couple different scenarios with cable configurations, but I still get the same issue. There is a 95/5 split left/right. If I take the left headphone off, I can hear some signal on...
I've tried the rate/depth settings at various spots. Just doesnt get that warbly ray gun sound to me. I'll keep tweaking but it seems when I hit an artificial harmonic it loses its raygun effect and just seems like the effect is in the background.
I've tried different placements in the...
i've got the rate and depth about as high as they go...it just doesnt seem to have the ray gun type sound for it. the whammy is an interesting idea...set it to an internal controller and adjust the min/mid/max depth to get the right settings....that could work.
I can't seem to get one that sounds decent. I've tried the various methods in the wiki and asked on the afx forum, but none of them sound convincing.
With my Boss GT-10, I got a very convincing raygun using a vibrato effect.
I've tried delay/chorus/phase and even the vibrato setting in the...
but it's cutting out when just turning off my lead 'boost' of a drive block/delay/GEQ. When i turn those off the delay trails are lost. And I'm using a mono delay for all my presets. It WAS working and now i get nothing.
