You should try a Goldfinger SL. Does 60s/70s/80s like the Helios, but has a clean channel that's easily bogners best (and foot switchable). Add a tailorable boost for each channel and it's my favorite of his designs
not that i'm aware of. i've used one on a suhr modern, fender EJ strat, and an xotic telecaster to great effect. no downside really, just pause every now and then to assess how much you've taken off.
Hard to beat an H90, or if you want cheaper the H9.
Can do world class delay or verb in the H9, or both on the H90. And to be picky, the H9 has some algorithms that can do both delay and verb at the same time too.

Really is a no compromise channel switcher. I own an early 2000s 101B as well, the Goldfinger beats it I'm afraid to say.
