After an 8 month wait, it arrived.

I e-mailed back & forth with Kyle regarding my Aristides for quite a while before paying to have it built & he was nothing short of professional & polite.
Since the wait times are very long, he sends me updates & pics out of the blue to keep me in the loop.
I was really shocked how good the Quarter Pounder neck PU sounded.
I'd Never heard one before, but it's probably the best neck single coil I've ever played. Thick, fat & Throaty, but with lots of definition.
$2K is very reasonable.
I looked online before buying the Charvel & I couldn't find a used Performance or Charvel anywhere & a new Performance was over $6k.
I finally broke down & got one of my childhood dream guitars.
I really just bought it for the snake skin-ness of it all, but it's a REALLY great guitar. Go figure!!!
Now if I can find a Lynch Russian Camo Sub, I'd be set.

Good thing I just ordered an ML-1 BEA yesterday.
BTW, your ML-1 BEA videos are solely responsible for me ordering a Chapman, so they better give you a raise. ;)
They're definitely not discontinued as I found quite a few places that sell them online & they were just at NAMM.
I also just bought an ML-1 that will arrive in 3 days.
Does anyone here have 1st hand info on Chapman Guitars?
This model looks good & the price is right.
