Honestly, I don't care for black hardware, so this works really well, for me. :D
Back is the same finish, and equally beautiful. Pic's don't even do it justice.
I've been really happy with my Cornford for years, so yeah, it's possible depending on your needs.
Having said that, I'm always down for something that floats my boat, at a great price. :D
Also plan on grabbing a Helix fairly soon, just need to figure out full version or LT.
I was selling a Quickrod on craigslist several years back, and got an email from a dude who said he was in the studio all day, but would like to come check out the amp.
Didn't think much of it, because I live in LA, and "in the studio" is not particularly meaningful. :D
Fast forward to...
I’ve met George a couple of times (in non-playing situations), and he was much nicer than I expected.
The issue (for me) is, you never quite know which Lynch is showing up for the show; the Mr. Scary version, or George Lynch the Jeff Beck fan. :D
I’ll take Mr. Scary, please.
I'm sure you're right. My hopes may have been a bit high, based on the glowing reviews. There certainly wasn't anything wrong with the amp, I just didn't get anyone ditching their tubes amps for one (which I had read).
Hell, I'm not that even tough to please, I play through a SpiderJam all...
I guess I'll be the lone dissenter; I tried a 50 watt combo, and was completely underwhelmed.
It was fine, but I was expecting way better, based on the online hype.
