Well that ain't good news. I have one on pre-order, and I've been waiting on a 50W Helios since April. Latest update I got from Sweetwater was September 7th. I don't think I'm gonna see this thing until 2015 at this point. I've got the $2500 burning a hole in my pocket.

Rich, there's a resistor attachd to the bias trim pot that can adjust it's operating range. Email bogner for more info. I know that I had to snip a resistor, going from KT88s to EL34s, and that opened up the range. There's probably more you can do with other value resistors. Something's...

Honestly, if an Afwayu sounds thin, I'd toss the guitar in the trash. I've played an Afwayu for a while, and it's a huge sounding pickup.

I don't like black hardware. I don't like satin finished Gibsons with no binding. But I like your guitar. It just looks *right*. Great job.

Timmy into the Shiva Drive channel is great. +1 on that. You can adjust it right, and it almost *sounds* like it's not there, but just gets easier and more liquid to play. Timmy also makes a great light-crunch on top of the clean channel.

I've heard that if the LED is blown on the footswitch button, it won't function. Could be a bad LED... or a bad switch. Do you have any other LEDs lying around?

I think a lot of people are afraid to do spray finishes, but honestly.... they're way, way easy. Every time I've tried to do a rubbed-stain finish, it looks awful.
