Just had to learn 40 songs in two days for a last minute fill in gig. Kinda stressful, but turned out ok overall. Missed one or two but got thru the gig.

If they just had someone re write the manuals not assuming the user already knows how to use it, that would be a great help.

After it is working and you wrap your head around the workflow, it is pretty nice. Till you get to that point….creative swear words a plenty.

No worries. Odd that Amplitube opens no problem. For some reason, it hates Tonex. Never use it that way, maybe there is some update needed.

It isn’t an issue since I never use it that way, weird though. Amplitube works fine, never use it, but it does load.

Once you get the hang of it, it is ok. Till that point it sucks. Their download server must still be on dialup, they take forever. The product manager is kinda dumb, but if you have alot of their products it may make more sense.

So when I open it as a plug in in Logic and the popup window says “Tonex not supported” they are lying?

And their manuals / support docs assume the user knows too much about their products so I had to do a bunch of searching and swearing getting stuff figured out.

You probably only need the Axe and Tonex SE. Amplitube is a plugin for a daw. Tonex won’t work as a plugin. Not sure what CS is, will have to look into that. I just ordered a Tonex and Tonex Capture today. Starting to get the hang of the Tonex One finally.

Vr-1 and 57 is what I use most. Always a 57 and something else.

Fenders are typically voiced for single coils. It is no surprise the mids and bass are at zero. I would run the eq after all your other stuff. Cut the lows with it. Or have the Twin revoiced for humbuckers. Anytime I use the Princeton or Deluxe the bass is really low. Using a tele, the...

It made a big difference in my recordings. My room is small and getting alot of comb filtering. All gone now.

I have been using one along with a 57 in thier isolater deal. Like this setup alot.

I just use whatever is handy. As long as it has a good shield in it and isn’t noisy Im good.

Nice. Nothing wrong with more tools in the toolbox. You will find a use for it and get it dialed in. Not a Mesa guy typically but I have a Triple Recto that gets used once in a while….and even a Fender Concert II that is basically a Mark II copy.

I voted equally important, but it really depends on what I am looking for at the time. My preference is flatter radius, scale length is more up to what sound I am looking for.

It was all the forum rage back in the day. Got one cheap not expecting much. That is what I got, not much.

Hated the one I had. Not a good tone in it.
