It's funny, I thought he was tall and you were a little guy from the pics and videos I've seen of the two of you and I had it backwards. Can't trust pics and videos to figure out size.
Anybody in Central VA and want a 2525C for $900?

Actually, after trying it all again last night that McRocklin 80s Superlead preset is the bomb. I may have to get this one just for that preset. I'm sure there will be a lot more included with the paid version that will be just as good or better.
I also tried the Fortin Cali from Neural DSP...
Interesting.. I thought the tweeters were supposed to be at your ears. I'll have to try this and see. I actually find that putting my monitors on the other side of the room and cranking them up loud, it doesn't matter where they are pointed.. they are going to sound good and also huge. My...
I am doing the free trial of these right now. I found one high gain preset that I liked on the McRocklin.. it was ok but not great. I'm sure in the regular version there is a lot of nice tones though. There were several clean presets I loved. The Nunchuck was great.. I'm more of a Marshall...
Since these don't seem accurate, if you've seen a famous guitarist (or anyone famous) up close please post their real heights. It seems men misrepresent their heights by a couple inches taller than they usually are if asked.
@Fusionbear EJ is really 5' 5"? He looks tall and skinny to me with...
I think it is because it puts the center of the woofers and tweakers at the same height which you can then put at ear level. When they were standing upright with the tweeters at ear level, I could hear changes in tone when I would move my head. Now I don't.
I love my FM3 through headphones but with monitors they don't sounds as good.. what am I doing wrong? I'd love to hear in the room, what I hear through my headphones. I've got 5" Rokits and Mackie MR5 MKII.. also 8" Mackie MR8 MKIIIs
I like your stands... looks like my old ones :ROFLMAO:
I finally found some good foam for free and am using that now. I also found that if I laid my monitors on their sides, they sounded better.
I don't like buying from SW. I had a rep once and he was always giving me bad advice. I posted about it on a forum and many recommended their great rep so I picked one.. his prices were higher than my former rep. I've been buying from MF for 30 years and love them. I've got a new rep...
I just switched to 8s.. Heard some guitar legend state "why do you want to work so hard?"
They are kind of hard to find.. I did find some 8.5s to try as well.
The WGS Invader is one of my favorite speakers. I have a cab loaded with one Invader, 2 ET65s and a Reaper.. sounds great. It is one of those Marshall 1960 Stereo cabs so I was testing one side against the other with the ETs on the bottom and ended up liking them all together.
I have heard from people who have tried both that the Axe sounds better into a power amp compared with Synergy. Plus you have all those high quality effects.. and in stereo if you want it.
