I thought it was funny that it ended up at GC and that is how they found it. Gets stolen somehow and thankfully the thief went to sell it at GC. Then hits the WWW where it can be discovered again.
I had this problem on one guitar and it was because the ground wire wasn't connected properly to the bridge... it actually came off and was hard to solder back on but once I did solder it back on, the buzz was gone completely. Didn't have to keep touching the strings or metal to get it to...
I started at MetalMethod's forum around 2000 and soon joined Stetina's forums because I had just started guitar and was using their methods. I also joined IBreatheMusic's forums. I really enjoyed it at these forums and remember finding HC but never spent much time there for some reason.
I don't remember ever seeing anything from or about these two guys at TGP but they are the two that have resigned since VerticalScope took over 2 months ago.. As far as I know this VSAdmin guy is brand new to the forum as he is a VS employee admin-ing all their forums. Seems to me VS has chased...
This new guy is paid by the company that bought them out and modding like 20 something sites.. he ain't got time for games and he's being way more lenient. Even the tariff thread is still running. Someone got my new Marshall thread deleted right before the take over because some loser was...
When did this forum start? I'm pretty sure I had an account around the early to mid 2000s... got married and got away from the guitar for a few years before coming back with a new account.
Some guy over at TGP just created a thread talking about how 2 mods have stepped down and criticizing the new management. The new Admin that works for the new company that took over is doing a great job answering questions and not deleting posts or the thread. He says they don't want to be as...
I bet there are some great in-person teachers in Nashville. Tyler Larsen has a great online course that you can try for free. He shares a lot of the things he learned from Berklee. He also lives in Nashville now.
I tried the Softtube Marshall suite once and it was pretty good but still preferred TH-U and Amplitube over it. They were offering it at $19 then for that suite. That's a great deal.. but Amplitube is the best deal of all... plus it has a lot of tools for practicing, including recording...
Thanks for the tip. I use the same settings as I do with Amplitube and all my other software modelers. I've got an original Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. My guitar goes into a Behringer Ultra-DI DI400P and then into the Scarlett. I set the input gain on the Scarlett so it is just shy of hitting...
I just tried the free
I just tried some and didn't care for them either. I have Big Hairy Guitars iRigs for TH-U and they are great but didn't like anything he had for Tonex. I'm wondering if the pedal sounds better than the software? Maybe this tonex stuff is just not my thing. I didn't...
