While some will take the shortcut and do the "X" mod from the top the PCB without disassembling the module; I highly recommend you do it properly by fully disassembling the module, doing all your soldering/desoldering from the back of the PCB. Just be careful with the short ribbon cables while...

I just bought a quad of 16-ohm Elite-80s on eBay. I put 2 of them in my Crate Palomino V32 2x12 combo, and they are perfect - just what I've been looking for! I've tried several different speakers in this amp and have never been happy until now. My question is: Did they ever make this speaker...

That would be a really useful feature! It would definitely make dual-channel modules much more appealing to single-channel amp owners, which can only be good for your business too once the new modular line comes out. :yes: :thumbsup:

Will they still have the BRIGHT & BASS BOOST switches as well?

I always start with everything at noon; then I usually end up with the MID and TREBLE somewhere between 1:00 and 2:00. On the clean modules I tend to turn the BASS up to 1:00. On the C.O.D. the MID is dimed . . .
