I have used Doug's Tubes as well as The TubeStore and have been very happy with both of them. But I'm a huge fan of BNB Tubes on eBay (eBay ID: bnbtubes). They don't have the biggest selection, but they do have the best prices on the inventory they carry.
Thanks for posting that Rob . . .
It has to be > 100mA, so I think you meant to type 400 mA, didn't you? BTW - The power transformer that came with mine is rated at 18VDC @ 300mA.
Not sure those stands will work for me . . . but thanks for all the help everyone. I guess I'm going to either go with books/blankets/2x4's, or buy dedicated monitors.
I just this morning bought a single JBL SR4702X monitor (a 12" monitor weighing 64 lbs! ); but I was going to use a pair of JBL MR925's (15" mains) that I already have as the other monitors (we'll only need 3 total, as the drummer will use a HotSpot, in-ears, or something else)...
Thanks all - but I was hoping to avoid a construction project, and I already had the books covered in the OP   . . .
I didn't think of this. So you're saying that standing right in front of the speaker I'll have sound at my feet and at the ceiling; but if I move 3 feet to the right or...
Does anyone make any sort of stand or adapter that allows a main PA speaker to have its tilt adjusted when used as a floor monitor? Yes, I know I could stick anything under the front edge to prop it up - books, blankets, etc. But I'm wondering if there's an actual product designed for this out...
Duuuh . . . I'm confused. Oh wait - no I'm not . . . because it doesn't get much simpler than that!  Thanks for clearing that up Bruce!
Ordered the casters from Guitar Center on Friday. Total cost was about $63 including tax & shipping, and the whole process took less than 5 minutes . . . I can live with that!
I wouldn't worry about that - I just put this to the test. I called up my local GC and said I wanted to special order the casters. I gave them the part number above, and they brought it up instantly! No brainer . . . as long as you give them the right part number it'll take more like 2 minutes...
I just emailed Eganter, and 5 minutes later I got this reply:
All of our accessories and products can be ordered with Guitar Center very easily. Here is the part number for the casters you need; 105474993 TMCSTR-EG25. This item ID and part number is for one (1) caster so when you order them at...
Interesting - what's with the "DLX-C"? Mine just says "DLX", as do the few others I've ever seen. Is this an Egnater customized or modded version of the DLX? Inquiring minds want to know :) . . .
I asked Ian about casters for my TM212 maybe 2-3 weeks ago, and he said any of their storefront retailers can special order them for me. However, I called Music123 to order some, and they said they'd check it out and email me back. The next day I got an email from Musician's Friend (so...
I hate I had to revive this thread, as the OP never replied here or answered my PM (he read my PM though). :lame:
But yes, something smells fishy here . . . :dunno:
