But those demo videos are actually modded amps aren’t they?
Are there any demos of this actual legendary module?
Like, for those with technical knowledge, can one of these actual tube socket plugin modules be the same as the actual #39 mod?
Wasn’t in reference to you. Saw some other posts as I was reading. Don’t ask me to remember. I said I like KISS, so you know I’m not going to be that smart.
We’re not judging music on technical ability again are we?
Took me long time to appreciate KISS having only heard radio songs. Lot of older friends and influences site them so I delved in and found some cool stuff I now love. Definitely not all. But I’m always just happy if I can get a few good...
I absolutely LOVE EVH. That said, I feel his generation and disciples of that era are amazed by some things that they shouldn’t be.
It reminds me of something else from that era, martial arts. So many older guys I know think some friend of theirs with a black belt has magical powers. While my...
Is always been curious myself. There are so many Marshall style amps, Jose, 5150, generic high gainers. But ENGL does seem to be in its own lane. It’s just the build quality comments that have always stopped me.
I agree with the RHCP comments. Their early drug induced funk stuff was so cool. Things like Dani California and Scar Tissue are hard to reconcile and make me want to kill myself they are so bad. Yet normie people loved that shit!
Personally I agree. I’m sick of putting on my favourite metal bands and them not being safe and politically “correct”. Maybe we can turn the amps down a little too while we’re at it. What’s with all that distortion? Sounds very racist!
A lot of people like to look for clues of mods and things in Eddie’s old tone. I’m sure there will be something in here they point to. Maybe the tone was behind that black dot.
I’m more curious why his car windows don’t roll all the way down.
Nice. Yeah I used to lurk around the MTS forum. Always favoured the Salvation stuff, but I'm not one for risk or long wait times. I'll check out The Amp Shop.
