Here's what happens: Whenever I send any sort of program change on the MIDI bus to it, it just resets - I can't change presets on it via MIDI control, as all it does whenever it receives data is reset. In fact, it can't get past the point of determining if the data coming in is for the channel...

I had the same problem, then I read here somewhere that the TREBLE is the key - you need to crank it up to at least 2:30-3:00. it's a little tricky to dial in so that A channel doesn't sound too bright, but I was able to do it (although I can't remember if I have the BRIGHT switch at "0" or "1"...
