No, there's no depth. The only NFB options are the switching between the two presence types for the various eras of Marshalls. There is a switchable fat cap in the preamp though

I've got 2 1959HWs that I've modded, no problems at all. It's probably also worth noting that Jason has no problem modding a pretty much non-stop stream of amps with the new transformers for people without changing the iron.

You should be fine with a punch and hammer for one board. The drill press definitely makes it easier though lol

I've always done my own, you're basically looking at a drill press and one custom / specialty bit to do the staking for each turret size you plan to use. I typically do my layouts on graph paper... should probably go more high-tech on that lol
