+1, And you missed alot of killer music IMO. If you can't listen to a album for what it is and not compare everything to something past you are wasting alot of great music IMO.

I just personally think it's one of those amps that most don't know how great they really are. IMO it's probably the best amp, along side the SLO, that Mike Soldano has ever created. It is his 25th anniversary amp so I have a feeling he put alot of heart and soul into it.

I like the Soldano cabs just fine. They just aren't my favorite. I personally seem to prefer V30's with most my amps, including Soldano's. The V30's just seem to cut through the mix so much better live IMO plus they sound great for home use/practice.

I agree. I A/B'd the HR25 side by side with the SLO and HR50 before buying. To my ears the HR25 won hands down so I ordered one with the tolex I wanted. I've had mine since early 2015 and it sounds better now than ever. I love it. Can't think of a amp I would trade it for. It just sounds...

I agree. A 25-40 watt JJ or even better Butterslax, even with only one channel, would sell big time. I personally just could never love the Runt's, unless they have changed drastically since their release. They just didn't have that hot rodded Marshall/Friedman signature tone IMO. Of course...

Congrats on the amp!! Looks and sounds great!! The Wizard MC25 and Mezzabara Skill 30 intrigue me but I love my Soldano Hot Rod 25 so much I can't see letting it go. It's just so clear, punchy and huge sounding I am not sure I would be happy with anything else.

My Soldano Hot Rod 25 is one of the best amps ever IMO. Just super note clarity, bloom and punch, no fizz, flub, etc... Must be a tube issue, etc.. if you are getting fizzy or flubby tone through this amp?? It is the exact opposite of that. It's one of the clearest amps I have ever played...

Yeah, I don't have any photos I really can't live without. 99% just gear pictures but I wouldn't mind keeping them and going somewhere besides photobucket. I know how to download my album, it just doesn't work.

Of the 2x12's I have tried the Mesa Recto and OS Bogner are my favorites. Both have plenty of low end and I actually prefer them tonally compared to many 4x12's.

Happens alot to me. I think alot of it is inspiration and how into it you really are on that day. Some days everything clicks and other days I feel I'm pushing.

I'm going to give it a "wait and see" thing with Photobucket right now. See if they revert back to the old style. IMO no one is going to pay $400 a year for 3rd party hosting. If they do not revert back then everyone that does use them will leave and Photobucket will die completely.

Their limit must not be much because I only use 3% of my space and only occasionally link photos and my account is frozen. Screw Photobucket. I'm not paying anything, especially $400 a year, when there are so many free sites out there.
