Tortex are MUCH smoother than Ultex (or Cortex by planet waves).

They're basically taking Schecter place in Europe. Cool guitars imho, and great price for european guys. Interesting artist roster for a brand this young too.

Honestly never heard a bad thing about the Savage, I guess it's the most liked ENGL out there. The Invader and the Powerball MKI are another story tho

Honestly I can't agree with that, the Yeti properly tweaked is quite a monster (as the XTC is ofc, but that's well known).

You have a Yeti already, which is a great amp, I'd get something that pairs well with it EQ wise, like a splawn nitro. Or yeah, a SLO.

I kinda dig it. I mean, it's awful, but it likely cuts like a hot knife in a band.
