Is EVH/CHARVEL/ESP all doing single humbuckers this year? I do like the relic'd white/black stripe EVH....The others, not sure. That Zombie Charvel and those Star Charvels are sick. Even the pink single hum is sick.
I like the looks of it...From my experience most schecters need a setup outta the box. I've owned the KM6 and KM&7 mkII. I don't know if it was the bridge on the KM6 or the scale length, but I could never get it totally intonated. Drove me nuts.
I did end up buying a pair of the Made in England G12m speakers. I think they sound a bit different cuz I haven't burned them in enough in my combo. Need to take the amp to work and crank the S*&T outta it and get them moving.
Amps nowadays are a lot like music releases. You have to create a hype video or two, in music it’s a couple/few singles, and then the first month/2 months(music)/6 months amps are key to get the sales. After that it’s a sales slope coming down the mountain.
I had a Legacy 1 head. $300 is a great price for that combo. I preferably liked 6L6 tubes in it. Paired mine with a VHT fatbottom 212 cab. Had good rock tones with a boost. Not metal really. Soloing and cleans were the best parts of it. I liked the legacy way more than the X-100B. On a side...
