Mark IV-I bought it new and never could settle in with it. Always had a blanket over the cab sound that couldn't be dialed out and a tube swap didn't fix it. I think something was wrong with it, but Mesa said it was fine.
Mark III red stripe-It's everything I hoped the Mark IV would be. Sounds...
I've had good results with an Ibanez DE-7. It's really cheap and sounds good. I use it front of my Splawn modded JCM 800 and it isn't noisy and like I said, it sounds surprisingly good.
My brand new Mark IV screwed up the first day I had it. Its problem was that I lost all of my volume on channel 1 and had very little gain on my other channels due to a faulty LDR.
What's it like? Is the gain it provides like using a boost out front or is it better? I'm thinking about trying one on my 2203 and I'm needing some opinions.
These are a little late, but oh well, better late than never. Bobefann sold me his Splawn modded Marshall, I bought a Keeley modded SD-1 off of Ratter, and Griff sold me an Alesis Quadraverb and everything went great. All great sellers.
