Need a 7 String pickup close to a Wolfetone
I tried the duncan distortion, it does not sound anything like it really. Its less abrasive, clearer, and has less mids, or at least congestion in the mids.- endofall

Need a 7 String pickup close to a Wolfetone
So I have a Wolfetone blisterbucker that is my pickup of choice with a Mesa Mark VII. I am trying to find something that is close to this pickup for a 7 string Ibanez and so far no luck. I’ve tried a duncan distortion and a dimarzio titan so far. I reached out to Wolfe and he doesn’t wind 7...- endofall

2205/2210 clones?
That mid range is awesome. I have a friend with a 1990 2205 and nothing sounds exactly like it but it's fantastic- endofall

I'm pretty sure the Carstens Grace is a Trainwreck
I have said the same thing to a friend of mine that owns a Grace. It really seems like a tweaked 100 watt express.- endofall

Rev G Dual Rectifier + Legendary Tones Mod = Stupidly Good
Good question, I've never played a badlander but I've seen several comments saying they needed more lows and some more gain. Not sure if that's accurate or not but if it is, it would be a win/win for sure. When I tried it in my old dual rectifier it was absolutely amazing, but again not so much...- endofall
