    Your favorite shredder?

What are you talking about "doing the right thing"? What a narrow-minded thing to say imo. There's no "right or wrong" in the music you like to make - if it sounds good to you then it is good and if that attracts a certain audience then you're doing something that's connecting whether it's a...

Chleo Limited Edition - Herman Li Signature Model - PRS Guitars

Not something I would buy, but it looks like a great instrument with a lot of thought gone into it!

Have Fishman Fluence really made a difference?

Good description, I like that idea!

Have Fishman Fluence really made a difference?

Not ever seen a demo of them and thought they sound better than any decent regular pickups, except they need charging with a USB cable. Am I missing anything about them?

Van Halen-esque country-ish instrumental rock for you!

Let me know what you guys think! Cheers

    Incredible Mesa Tones

Razor's Edge is a pretty uninspiring AC/DC album overall despite a switch in gear. Boring songs (apart from Thunderstruck) and really flat production.

    Incredible Mesa Tones

Definitely, I remember seeing a video years ago of someone getting the Brown Sound with a Rectifier and it sounded fantastic!

Kemper Profiler MkII Series is Here

I really liked my Kemper power rack, it was handy having it all in one unit. Unfortunately I had to sell it as I came back to it during a break in a gig and it had reset itself which if that had happened during a set would have been a disaster as it takes a while to start up. Never trusted it...

    Incredible Mesa Tones

Boogies don't just do a scooped sound, they have a great midrange if you dial them in. Funny though because they may as well have used Marshalls if they have the same sound as always haha!

Sammy Hagar Thank you Goodnight - Eddie tribute

Classic Hagar "too literal and corny" lyrics, but it's a cool song and a very decent tribute to EVH.

Sammy Hagar Thank you Goodnight - Eddie tribute

I very much doubt artists, especially ones as wealthy as Hagar, release one song in today's climate and expect it to make them tons of money.

Van Halen - On Fire - Raw Guitar Track

EVH "stuck to his iconic licks" as that was HIS thing, he revolutionised so much of guitar that we can't be disappointed in him that he didn't revolutionise every time he took a solo. For the record I think he mixed it up a lot as he went on - the juicy neck pickup tone in the Poundcake solo...

Warren DeMartini back with Stephen Pearcy

Is Warren using a JCM 900 here? Tone sounds brilliant I think!

Middle PU to replace Jem one in PGM 3001

The one my PGM came with is a bit useless tbh, I believe it's the one from the Jem. Any recommendations for something with a bit more oomph to replace it? Thanks! Mike

Philip Sayce Absolutely SHREDS at NAMM 2025

Exactly this; he's obviously a great player and very passionate, but when it's so intense ALL the time it becomes a bit numbing to me.

    NGD - Ibanez PGM 301

Definitely feels like a longer neck compared to my Suhr and Charvel too - along with the maple it makes the guitar quite twangy, but in a good way.

    Lace sensor Plus Ultra set

Loving it - very clear! The humbucker is great too, not over the top levels of gain compared to the previous Duncan Shredmaster in there.
