I'm back to a valve amp after years using modelers and I'm looking to kick in the classic "bit more gain and a big volume boost" using my Boogie MK4 25W head on the rhythm channel with a good amount of gain.
Not been paying attention to the most popular pedals for the job, but I've hear the TC...
If by endless you mean "endlessly repetitive for the past 20 years" then yes.
Can't tell if you're being a troll or not tbh, even PG says he's doing his best impression of Yngwie and also himself, so I'm not sure why you've taken to bashing this amazing guitar performance just because it...
What would you guys suggest now we're back to gigging? I've been using a rack/midi board setup, but fancy something a bit simpler now. The Blackstar combos don't look too back and maybe the smaller Mesa heads look handy. Having speaker sim out would be ideal too.
Thanks!
To pile in on the Spider (I use one sometimes in my band's jam room rather than bring my own stuff), I really dislike how the EQ controls "reset" and a random effect will be added when changing to another amp model, always thought that was a really bad design choice.
What would be awesome would be if Yngwie ditched his home studio/DIY setup he always uses and got together with a marquee producer who might reign him in and bring way more focus to an album. Someone like Bob Rock or Rick Rubin etc would be good, plus put together a crack band of amazing players...
Used the free Fluff 5153 and Ignite amp plugins for the rhythm and my Kemper Soldano profile for the leads.
Got a few other songs on there too, let me know what you think!
Dude, I love your stuff! I recognize a few vocal/melodies here and there from the Vacation South EP (Which I still regularly listen to).
Looking forward to hearing more, especially the hard rock side of things, great work.

Used Reaper, Ignite Emissary (Great amp sim), Steven Slate Drums and the onboard EQ, reverb and compression.

Hi, I've been experiencing big tuning problems with my Suhr Modern.
If I use the Gotoh whammy bar and dive it the notes go very sharp but if I physically bend a note past a tone it tends to go very flat. This is happening on every string no matter how much I stretch them out. I have the trem...
A good alternative I've personally found is my setup of a rack preamp with a decent effect processor (JMP-1 w/Digitech 1101).
Really versatile without having to shell out £££'s on a Kemper or Fractal.
