Hi Folks. I’m reading this with interest. I have tried a few od’s with the BE100 DLX, sounds great at home volume but seems compress and lose volume at gig level. Please, what am I doing wrong? Using Buxom Boost, TC Spark, SD1, TS all with same results in front of the amp. Many Thanks ?

Yes, I had it refretted mid 2000’s with nickel frets. It has the original nut though. I got so much earache when I bought it I’m reluctant to part with her! You never know though ?

Thank you so much. I have owned it since 1997. It weighs a ton! It’s getting to the point where I’m getting too old to play it for long without back ache. I‘m 52?.

You guys look to know a lot about this era. Would you have any information on my Custom? It is an 83 and has the built in string winders in the tuners.

I’ve emailed and messaged Suhr with no response which I must say is unusual. I have a series/parallel switch on my Modern. Would anyone know particularly from Suhr, if this can be rewired as Blower switch? Many Thanks.

This I’m not sure of! It does end up around 1 to 3 O’clock, so leaving it around 8 is about right I guess?

I tried using the loop that way and the clean sounded awful. I emailed DF who said; turn loop level down and switch off. Turn the Master to the desired level, switch the loop on and turn up to match the level. This is unity gain. Works for me ?

Thank you so much for the info. Can I ask how you guys are using the master and fx loop level. I tried it at rehearsal level using fx in the loop and I’m not sure whether I use master or loop level for overall volume? Many Thanks.
