Yep, no problem. set-up a cc to bypass the unit(s) when not using a preset. You can also just program a clean preset as well. As long as you don’t use the gate and set your mixer accordingly your signal will remain analog.

Rack tuners are nice, especially on stage when your eyes at 50 aren't quite what they were just a decade ago. :lol: :LOL: I've actually since moved the rack tuner to my small bass rack that I actually gig with occasionally.

The current MIM necks are not quartersawn but the one’s from 2015-2016ish were. When they switched to the latest version with the truss rod adjustment wheel at the heel they were no longer quartersawn. +1 I’m a guitar player and ran into a similar scenario where I needed/wanted a bass for a project. The Sterling by Music Man series are great. The Ray 4 is what I got for around $300 and love it. One passive pick up with an active preamp. Sounds great and the neck is very comfortable.

Intellifex sys files won’t work in it. Different interface, fx blocks etc. You can run it post like the Intellifex but I found it best in front of a preamp. It has some really nice fx like tremolo, phaser, flanger and an excellent rotary speaker that sound best pre preamp.
