    Bad Cat Lynx......

Shit ton of gain. Love the amp but it is a little different from others. Lots of low end makes it through the earlier stages. Has some of that Matchless chime.

    Mesa Rectoverb 6L6 vs EL34

I would imagine much of the low end is due to the amp being in the corner?

The Peavey 6505+ output is really more like 80 or 90 watts rather that 120 yea or nay ?

Thankfully the newer 6505 and + boards have the same traces as the 6534.

Let’s Talk About Wizard Amps Gut Shots Modern Classic 50 Modded, Slightly

Yes, bring the sticks haha It is on edge of what is useful. I can see where someone who likes a specific tone could dislike it. In a mix there would be some cuts for sure. The amp is definitely raw.

Let’s Talk About Wizard Amps Gut Shots Modern Classic 50 Modded, Slightly

If I were to sell this amp I imagine I would double my investment. I made the depth defeatable so anyone could compare to how it was stock. I have modded many of my amps and wouldn't sell them for a loss in value. IMO, if a buyer doesn't see the value in the mod the amp isn't the right amp...

Let’s Talk About Wizard Amps Gut Shots Modern Classic 50 Modded, Slightly

Bring the discussion and photos of your Wizard from the inside out! When i bought this amp I really liked it but it didn't quite have the kick in the lows I had heard about. Had my tech add a depth dial but it didn't do a lot so I had him take another look at it. He added a variable negative...
