GAS, aaargh.
Must. resist. Copper Metallic M1.
I both love and hate you guys!
EDIT: Any idea when these are shipping? Will any of the first batch make it to the UK?
The market isnt great at the moment. The last 2 on eBay went for somewhere between £350 - £450 IIRC.
If you arent desperate to sell, maybe hold on to it for a bit?
I have a Reb Beach model with 'heavy' frets. Theyre amazing (im sure its all down to setup  ). Im hoping to get my Gibson refreted with the same wire.
Do you have the fretwire specially made, or is it Dunlop (or other brand) that I could get from a parts shop? And what are the...
Mines has a DSV and 2 JST singles and also sounds great. They give the option for Suhrs or EMGS.
As EWSEthan says, Reb Beach uses EMGs his guitars, so that is probably the reason most go for them.
Same here! Would it kill them to put out a HSS guitar? Offer some different finishes, and make the current ones better quality? I dont like the necks either. Totally see your point about the RG bodies.
However, the bridges are great, they offer the best 7 strings on the mass markets and they...
Cant argue with that, but Poland is equally as recognisable.
Folks, my points are:
1) Dont be so narrow minded to write off Broderick before he has even recorded a note in the band.
2) Context.
I have Speed Metal Symphony. Im not saying I dont like the band – just that Marty's style isnt very apparent. Its a bit of a notes per minute fest. If Marty hadnt joined Megadeth and kept putting out Cacophany style records we wouldnt hold him in such high regard.
Just sayin', you cant judge...
Give the guy a chance! Who knows what he is going to pull out for the record. Some Jazz slap perhaps? Some 8 finger classical?

And let us not forget Marty Friedmans pre-Megadeth "wankfests" in Cacophany!
