hell yeah i want to do that theme, but that one is intricate will take a lot more time than this one haha, but i will definitely tackle it, im thinking the next one will probably be cid's theme or the battle theme maybe, or possibly compression of time from ff8
i have been meaning to do this for a long time, i really want to do a bunch of the other themes in different styles as well, but yeah here ya go:

copperhead: i was using drumkit from hell superior
mightyjoeyoung: yeah i click everything in with the mouse, i figure since i would be editing with the mouse anyways might as well just do it all with the mouse!
as for the guitar tone, i like bright tones, so i actually eq'd it to...
hey guys, i have been getting a lot of requests for some clips of this amp so here ya go!
its really rough i know and the takes arent tight at all cuz i wasnt even planning on posting it, but i figured since it came out decent itll give you a sense of the amp on channel 3 (bright, higain) and 1...
So there i was walking around one day when all of a sudden: ENGL!
Aghast, my brain proceeded to self-pwn and shoot lots of happiness into the rest of my body!
For you see, i love Engl...i really love Engl...
This box would need to be opened, STAT!!! I reached for a shoe...
Then i realized...
Aww thanks for mentioning me in the thread d00ds, but suggesting that im even one of the best players on the board is an insult to all the guys who can ACTUALLY play the guitar hahaha!
ah that clears it up a bit, cuz yeah i know the whole "vintage-warm-NOS" crowd can overplay that whole thing a bit hehe, so you would say the pga wouldnt really lose much soundwise if anything at all?
have you tried the pga and the pdi tho because i heard that although the pga has more features, its harder to get a good sound out of it, and that the pga just sounds better overall.
also as cool as attenuators are, i am really just looking for the best speaker sim, so since im not going to...
so im in the market for one of these cuz i will have some money comin my way and i want to be able to record my engl powerball and my vht clx silently but be able to crank their powersections as well! (thanks to the dummy load)
i just cant decide, the pdi03 seems to be the staple and people...
ah thanks so much doods!
as far as drums i just mess with the velocities the way i would accent on a real kit, as in with ghost notes and soft accents and the feels on fills etc...
and i believe i was using the jazz chorus amp model on the podxt (which is probably what i would use in real life...
Yo dudes,
Seems like i havent really been workin on a whole lot of new stuff lately cuz i have been focusing on the EP (which is coming along nicely btw!) but yeah instead of going out tonite and being social i got inspired and decided to record some riffs, it ended up taking a fair bit longer...
