What is more important to you, fretboard radius or scale length?

I voted equally important, but it really depends on what I am looking for at the time. My preference is flatter radius, scale length is more up to what sound I am looking for.

    Why shouldn't i get a Marshall SL-X?

It was all the forum rage back in the day. Got one cheap not expecting much. That is what I got, not much.

    Why shouldn't i get a Marshall SL-X?

Hated the one I had. Not a good tone in it.

Going to see Dokken with Lynch playing with Don tomorrow night.....

They are playing tonite near me. Saw them in their heyday, good enough for me.

What pedals make up your core tone?

We do a wide range of stuff. Rhythm: Some is just amp, guitar and volume knob. Funk stuff some Phase 90. 80’s stuff Boss DC2, Flanger and some delay. Modern stuff DC2 and a TS 9 I modded a long time ago. For leads, either just amp, amp with TS9, amp with TS9 DC2 amd some delay. But...

    Wizard owners: What speakers/cabinets?

Any birch ply rear loaded cab with green backs is best for me.

    ToneX 78/79 doing Fair Warning.............

I have the Tonex One and use the software in the computer. Normally for practicing I plug my guitar into the blackstar Polar 2 interface and use the Tonex software. There are a few different presets I use. Sounds really good surprisingly. Have not tried the pedal thru a rig yet.

    Wizard Metal early 90’s

My MC1 is like that. I had some stuff from my Metal incorporated in my MC. Turned out great.

    Wizard Metal early 90’s

I think he used the MC1. Could be wrong though.

    Wizard Metal early 90’s

My first Wizard was one of these. Bought in the early 2000’s and had Rick go thru it and do some mods. Wonder what the serial number is? Pull boost on the bass and a pull gain boost added on the lead channel and tube buffered fx loop. Similar gain to my MC1, brighter. Much more Marshall...

Where is a good place to get Marshall parts?

They have some stuff, haven’t seen any of the plastic replacement parts on there. I did get a handle and generic corners / rivets from one of my regular vendors. See how they work out.

    Marshall Spare Parts Scarcity?

You obviously have not looked for any replacement parts lately. Tube amps have been fading away since the 60’s, yet they are still here….

    Your string journey

Hmmm, let’s see. First ones I remembered using were Kaman Stainless steel 9’s. Then SIT 9’s. Then moved to 10’s and used Dean Markley (not the blue steels). Got back from GIT and ended up trying EB reg slinky. I had never tried them. Hated them at first, then liked them and used them a long...

Celestion H75 Creambacks vs M65 Creambacks

No I said H speaker. The ones I tried (very few) they all sounded very scooped to me. If you like them and they sound good to you, cool. I generally do not like v30 speakers. No lows or highs, once broken in just a dull midrange sound. But I do have a 92 Mesa cab loaded with them that...

Celestion H75 Creambacks vs M65 Creambacks

Go with your experience. If they are working for you and you are liking them, that is what matters. Random people’s opinions are just that ime. My experience is only with pre rola H30’s, anniversay h30’s, redbacks and wgs reaper ( h30 copy). For me they all had that same tone. When using...
