Maybe he wants a seamless professional job and leads a life where he doesn't have time to perfect his soldering skills so it's easier to have it done. Understanding that isn't rocket science. I don't see a problem, other than fielding an occasional f*cktard comment.
I've never once heard a drummer play that song correctly. Bill Ward's bass drum work on that song truly sounds nervous, or dare I say... 'paranoid'. Brilliant stuff.

Since I'm 56 with health issues, you can guess which one I use all the time and which one I barely ever use anymore (but I love it too much to let it go).
What a stupid article, the author almost twisted his ankle working in shallow opinions of things unrelated to music to help propel his junior-high style article about a band he doesn't like. It also serves as a perfect example of how people try to work racism into everything to gain approval or...
This guitar is a perfect tribute to the band: Overly thought out ideas that eliminate the clean & efficient way of doing things for the sake of impressing their fans looking for details that are (air-quotes) "different".
Under these circumstances, I definitely give this a thumbs-up. Everyone's been asking Wolf to play VH songs, and I respect his avoidance of doing them thus far. But this show was a good tribute to Taylor, who was obviously a guy that was always flying the flags of the bands he loved, so for me...
This topic brings up such a hugely important skill guitarists in bands have to learn over time. Changing the practice room is an easy thought to someone not in a band, but the dynamic of rehearsal rooms (& their size, location, price, etc...) quickly remind us that guitar tone is not everyone's...
Yea I found that interesting too. In the beginning when he was showing the LP that took the Derrig's place, it seemed like Agnisi was rushing him past talking about the Derrig, but leaving in Slash's testimonial about it being THE Ultimate LesPaul for him was pretty surprising to see in a...
These GibsonTV things on peoples' collections are always good (check out the Rick Nielsen one too), but this new one featuring Slash's stuff is really cool. Great to see Gibson showing the Derrig LP up close with the others. Per usual, Slash seems like such a cool dude to talk guitars with.
I can't say enough about this reverb pedal.. beyond any great reverb setting you could want, it has that 'angelic majik' quality you hope to get when going to a reverb. 2 thumbs way up for the Neunaber Immerse...
I think the reason so many of us are knocking it is because there are so many great stories, and even lessons about the company, to be told here.... and this barely did any of that. To make matters worse, they had an amateur put it together who failed to realize how irrelevant it is to waste...
