    The $3,500 price tag on these is insane. The MW with more features was way cheaper brand new before bring discontinued. Anyways, I still believe that the Road King II is the best Rectifier ever made.

    Is there a reason my new Power Station PS-2A sounds and feels much better than the previous one I owned?

    Just unplug the speaker cable from the PowerStation. I never even power mine on when using it as a loadbox.

    There's not 2 models on the QC. The "new" model you're referring to is the PCOM plugin of the new SLO100 (if you own that plugin).

    The plugin is better IMO and always has been. From day one I prefered the plugin version. With that said, I believe the stock amp is based on the old SLO100 and the plugin is based on the latest SLO100 release.
