I would say that there is almost everything that you criticize about Engl amps :D

The price is more than favorable, considering the preamp is Handbuilt in the USA. Just hand soldering that many SMD components must take a hell of a lot of time. Just kidding :)

It has no sense to measure bias during riffing, even chunky riffing. Especially not with a digital multimeter.
