To me, I guess 'natural' sounding would be no fizz, percussive low end, and a ton of sustain along with good string separation. I think a lot of amps can hit that, dialed in correctly.
Tried it on a 20th A xtc... Channel 1 didn't really work well at all for me, 2 was actually a good lead tone, but a bit too undefined for rhythm. 3 was just way WAY too much gain.

I was told by a local dealer that if there's an established MB dealer already, then a GC close to that shop won't be allowed to sell them. Sure enough, this is exactly the situation in my area.... the GC near me only has the occasional used Boogie.

The thing about the 80's that killed me was the awful drum sounds, not so much the guitars (though drums for a lot of bands now are even worse).
That + the minimalization of bass guitar on many recordings = audio boredom.
How you aren't employed by every gear maker on the market for demo's is beyond me. Seriously, I've never watched a vid of yours and said "eh, that doesn't sound all that great".
