Oh man such a beast also. Pretty much all the guys he collaborates with are insanely good lol. I've got the Alluvial album and Conquering Dystopia as well. Really a fantastic musician!!
Hey guys,
Here's a little trick that takes the DI of the 6505MH from sounding super muddy and fuzzy to clear and aggressive. Let me know what you think and if this helps you! :D

Really love the bareknuckle ragnaroks, but I wish I could find something that shows the EQ that they use? Anybody know where I could find something like that? I'm thinking of how Seymour Duncan has their 3 band EQ's posted on their website.
What type of music do you play? I actually have the same feeling about the rectos. I play alot of modern metal and I usually turn on my Mark V or 6505 before the recto. but lately I have been on a recto kick when I jam at home. What works for me lately are these settings:

I am really enjoying the Peavey 6505MH. On the 5 watt setting, it has amazing liquid lead tones and it's not too loud for home use. The direct out for recording sounds awesome when you turn the presence way up. Still gets loud enough for a hard hitting drummer.
Anybody out there know what the Rectifier Vintage setting is based on? I can get some Mark-ish sounds with this setting, but was unsure if Mesa ever said which Mark amp inspired that setting?

Now I...
I actually have the solid state version of the rockerverb (CR120). I have no issue cutting through. Maybe it is the tubes? I know El34's cut through really well. I try and compensate for the solid state build with a tube screamer and it punches through very well. I am the only guitar player in...
Awesome amp man, Im glad you like it. I prefer it to most big heads, except I like to have a clean channel for the kind of music i play. Sick setup though dude
I have the micro terror, and I run it through a cheap Bugera 2x12. It's definitely loud enough to jam with, even at half volume. But if you want cleans, or more punch, i would say Dual Terror. The micro terror is great for rolling back the volume on your guitar for cleans, but it won't be...
