Don't worry... My Sony DPS M7 won the duel with the Eventide Eclipse in the Micropitch setting... Eventide is the factory standard...does not mean its the best for every use...

All the mentioned pickups will kill the neck and mid pickups of your strat...they will be unusable due to the output difference... I wouldnt go with a high output ceramic in a strat... JB could be a choice...I would go with a SD CUSTOM HYBRID...

I kinda prefer diodes than an extra gain stage... Feels more raw...and as mentioned diodes feel amazing under the fingers...

Do it... FL cabs are cooler sounding...
